TROPICAL WEATHER UPDATE-SEPTEMBER 10, 2008 – 7:00 PM

 
We are closely monitoring the progress of Hurricane Ike. All of Carnival’s ships will continue to operate at a safe distance from this storm. Our number one priority is the safety of our guests and crew.

We have made itinerary changes for several departures in order to provide our guests with an enjoyable shore experience, while operating the ships in the safest and most comfortable conditions:

Carnival Liberty 9/6 departure from Miami: The ship will replace the scheduled Eastern Caribbean itinerary with visits to Grand Cayman (Mon.), Cozumel (Tue.), Belize (Wed.) and Isla Roatan (Thur.)

Carnival Miracle 9/6 departure from New York: The ship will replace the scheduled call in Grand Turk with a visit to Tortola (Thur.)

Carnival Fascination 9/8 departure from Miami: The ship will visit Nassau (Wed.) and Freeport (Thur.)

Carnival Imagination 9/8 departure from Miami: The ship will replace the scheduled call in Grand Turk with a visit to Freeport (Wed.)

Carnival Inspiration 9/8 departure from Tampa: The ship will visit Progreso (Wed.) and Cozumel (Thur.)

Holiday 9/8 departure from Mobile: The ship will visit Progreso (Wed.) and Cozumel (Thur.)

All of our other ships are operating on the scheduled itineraries.

Galveston Departures – September 11 and September 14

The Carnival Ecstasy will sail as scheduled from Galveston on Thursday, September 11, 2008. We are also expecting the Carnival Conquest to sail as scheduled on Sunday, September 14.
