From time to time, Carnival will run a resident rate specials for those residing in the state qualified with a photo id (driver’s license with address) during the day of boarding to catch any people trying to cheat the system. Believe me or not, it happens when an average agency does not know how to ask valued clients which state do the client reside on? During the day of boarding, the person will ask for id and if the id does not show to qualified resident rate with the right state address, guess what? Your vacation is ruined.
